Josh runs the London Marathon for Brain Research UK!

On October 3rd 2021 Josh Goldsworthy completed the London Marathon in an incredible time of 3 hours, 23 minutes and 21 seconds!

Over the last 6 months Josh has been training non stop for the marathon whilst working full time and fundraising for Brain Research UK. Thanks to the generous donations of friends, family members and salon clients he has managed to raise nearly £7000!! A number that keeps increasing as last minute donations continue to roll in.

After the marathon Josh said, "I feel great and having the support of my family standing on the side-lines cheering me on really got me through the last four miles. I've definitely got the running bug now and will continue to support Brain Research UK. The charity is close to home for my family and I respect everything they are doing to try and find treatments and cures for an area that is vastly overlooked during the allocation of research funds."

As part of his fundraising the salon has hosted sweepstakes, a zumbathon, multiple raffles with amazing prizes, and a sponsored head shave. All of the proceeds will be donated to Josh's chosen charity, Brain Research UK. This charity is close to Josh after he lost his Mother-In-Law Trudy in 2019 to a brain tumour called Glioblastoma Multiform. Josh ran the marathon in honour of Trudy and their family and we are so proud of his achievement.
